Who collects your information

Atelier Annie Dallaire, a by-appointment workshop on Montreal's North Shore, operates the anniedallaire.ca website and collects the personal information described below.

What we collect, and why

The quote request form collects:

• Your name, so we know whom to answer.
• Your phone number, to call you back about your project.
• Your email address, if you give it, to write to you about your project.
• Your project description and the times to reach you, to prepare the quote and the callback.
• Your photos, up to five, to see the boat or car before pricing the work.

Information you give by phone is used for the same purposes. We do not share it with any third party for commercial purposes.

How your information is sent

The form stores nothing on the website. When you send it, your information and photos go out in an email delivered by Resend, an email delivery service, to the mailbox of Telos Machina, the company that runs the website for the workshop. The request is then passed on to Annie Dallaire.

Person in charge of personal information

Annie Dallaire, owner, is in charge of personal information protection at Atelier Annie Dallaire. For any question, to view, correct, or have your information deleted, or to withdraw your consent, call her at 514-298-7735 (French only).

Your rights

Quebec's law on the protection of personal information in the private sector gives you the right to:

• view the information we hold about you;
• have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected;
• withdraw your consent to its use;
• have your information deleted;
• receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.

Filing a complaint

If you have a concern about how your information is handled, contact Annie Dallaire first at 514-298-7735 (French only). If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, at cai.gouv.qc.ca.

Retention

A request that leads to no project is deleted within 24 months of receipt. Project-related information is kept for the duration of the project and up to five years after delivery, for after-sales service, then deleted. Resend keeps a technical copy of each email sent under its own retention period.

Who has access to your information

Annie Dallaire and Telos Machina, which runs the website and receives the form requests. The following providers also process your information for us:

• Cloudflare, which hosts the website and measures its traffic;
• Resend, which sends the form's emails;
• Google Workspace, which provides the mailbox where requests arrive.

Disclosure outside Quebec

Some of these providers may process your information on servers located outside Quebec, including in the United States. Each provider applies its own security measures to protect the information entrusted to it.

Cookies

The website keeps your language choice in a cookie called NEXT_LOCALE, for the length of your visit, to show the website in the language you chose. This cookie is needed for the website to work and does not ask for your consent.

The website sets no other cookie. It measures its traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless tool that cannot identify you. It also counts, without cookies, the forms sent and the taps on the phone number or email address, keeping nothing that can identify you.

Automated decisions

The website makes no automated decision about you and does no profiling, beyond the general traffic measurement described above.

This policy may be updated. The most recent date appears at the top of this page.
